Maksym H. Holub

Paratrooper Maksym Holub was killed on February 28, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Chervonopopivka in the Luhansk region. On March 4, the defender would have turned 33 years old. Maksym was born in the settlement of Solone, Dnipropetrovsk region. He lived in the city of Dnipro. He graduated from the Dnipro State Agrarian and Economic University. He worked at the company "Aromateka". In his free time, he loved to relax with his family. During the full-scale invasion, the man defended Ukraine in the ranks of the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 25th separate airborne Sich brigade. He was a senior sapper of the engineering and sapper platoon of the engineering and sapper company of the engineering support group. "I didn't have time to tell you very much... You were supposed to come back. Brother! I love you! It will be very difficult without you. Thank you for being a real man. Thank you for fighting for our independence. I know you couldn't do it any other way... The best son, brother, friend, husband! Forever! I love you," wrote the younger sister of the fallen Iryna Holub. The military was buried in his native settlement. Maksym is survived by his parents, sister, and girlfriend. Posthumously, Senior Soldier Maksym Holub was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
