- Senior soldier Maksym Hibadullin (call sign Barber) was killed on March 2, 2023 while performing a combat mission near the village of Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. The fighter received a fatal shrapnel wound to the lungs as a result of enemy mortar fire. The defender was 21 years old. Maksym was born and lived in Chernivtsi. He graduated from school there. Then he went on compulsory military service. He was engaged in sports, wanted to travel. After the army, he went to work abroad, but the full-scale war soon began, so he returned home. The guy joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend his native country from the occupiers. He served in the 79th separate air assault brigade. He was a squad commander. He fought in the Donetsk region. "He conscientiously and honestly carried out all combat missions, repeatedly saved the lives of his comrades, providing them with medical care when wounded. He never left the combat positions, despite the constant attacks of the enemy, because he understood that the responsibility for the future of the entire Ukrainian people lies on the shoulders of the warriors. I miss him very much. He is the best person. For some reason, they take the best ones... Rest in peace, you are forever in my heart," said the deceased's sister Albina. "A young, athletic, friendly and intelligent guy, a good and devoted friend," the community added. The young paratrooper was buried on the Alley of Glory of the Central Cemetery in his native Chernivtsi. At home, his parents, sisters, brothers, other relatives and friends were waiting for him. Maksym Hibadullin was posthumously awarded the medal "For the Glory of Chernivtsi".Memory Platform 'Memorial'
