Biography
Maksym Ivanovych Shulha was born on October 7, 1993 in Novhorod-Siverskyi. In 2008, he entered the Chernihiv Lyceum with enhanced military and physical training, after which in 2010 he entered the National Technical University "Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute", where he was the youngest cadet. He twice participated in the international competition of the Ukrainian language named after Petro Yatsyk, where in 2011 he took 3rd place, and in 2012 - 1st place. He graduated from the university with a red diploma. Since 2015, he has participated in the war in eastern Ukraine. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, Maksym Shulha held the position of head of the radiation, chemical, and biological protection service of the 32nd Rocket Artillery Regiment. Thanks to the skillful management of Major Shulha, in the first days of the war, the regiment left the operational encirclement almost without losses. He died on June 14, 2022 during a massive missile attack. On June 19, 2022, a farewell to the hero took place in Novhorod-Siverskyi. Maksym Shulha was buried in the central city cemetery of Novhorod-Siverskyi.Burial place
