- Lieutenant Maksym Rusynov (call sign Alabai) was killed in action on June 15, 2022, near the city of Hlukhiv in the Sumy region. During an enemy shelling, he received a shrapnel wound. The officer was 32 years old. Maksym Rusynov was born and lived in the city of Starokostyantyniv, Khmelnytskyi region. He graduated from Podilsk State University with a degree in "Organization and Regulation of Road Traffic". He stu at the National Academy of Land Forces named after Petro Sahaidachnyi. He was interested in military affairs. He linked his life with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He loved sports, played rugby. He enjoyed fishing and traveling. In 2018-2019, as part of the 128th separate mountain assault brigade, he participated in the JFO in Donbas. Then he served in the training center of the National Academy of Land Forces in the village of Starychi, holding the position of commander of the training and combat arms and equipment platoon. From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, Maksym participated in the liberation of Kyiv region: the village of Moshchun, Pushcha-Vodytsia, the settlement of Hostomel. In March, Maksym Rusynov was transferred to the 120th separate reconnaissance platoon, where the officer took the position of platoon commander. During his service, Maksym was repeatedly awarded with awards, including the breastplate "For exemplary service", and posthumously he was awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi III degree. "Maksym was kind, sincere, friendly, open and responsible. Extremely caring, friendly, kind and intelligent. His eyes always radiated a special warmth. Brother still had to live, rejoice, love and raise his little children. He had many plans for life, but the damned war...", - his sister Marina Havyryliuk told. The hero was buried in his hometown. Maksym left behind his mother, sister with her family, wife, son, daughter, relatives, friends and comrades.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
