- Soldier Maksym Chepka (call sign Jeweler) died on December 6, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Klishchiyivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was forever 31 years old. Maksym was born in the Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the Vinnytsia Cooperative College of Economics and Law and obtained the profession of an accountant. He was passionate about radio engineering and jewelry, so he changed his profession. For several months, he was a jeweler at a small enterprise, then he worked in the field related to electrical systems, and also engaged in grain quality control. On February 17, 2023, he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. After completing the "FPV Systems Management" course, he went to defend Ukraine as part of the 22nd Separate Mechanized Brigade. He was engaged in reconnaissance of enemy positions and the defeat of the enemy's combat power. "My brother was very smart, he read a lot of books. He acquired various professions. In particular, he was passionate about jewelry, repaired phones and various equipment," said Olesya Dzyuba. "He was like a brother to me, even though not by blood. Extraordinarily talented, kind, with an open heart, cheerful, and fun! All the best traits a person can have - Maksym had them all! This loss is irreparable for all of us. The loss of a loving son, brother, friend, beloved! It's a terrible shock for us that he left so early," added the deceased's friend Alina Tymoshenko. The warrior was buried in the village of Trostyanчyk in the Vinnytsia region. Maksym is survived by his parents, sister, nephews, relatives, and friends.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
