- Maksym Horiainov (call sign Miller), a special forces fighter, was killed on October 11, 2022 in a battle with Russian invaders near the village of Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region. The defender was 25 years old. Maksym was born in the village of Ruska Lozova in the Kharkiv region. The eleventh grade of the guy passed on the Maidan as part of the Social-National Assembly in the organization "Patriot of Ukraine". He also took part in the Kharkiv Euromaidan. Together with local ultras and right-wing forces, they fought for Kharkiv against the separatists. At the beginning of the Russian aggression in Crimea, he went to Chonhar as part of the "Black Corps", and then joined the "Azov". After school, he entered the Yaroslav Mudryi National Law University, but did not graduate, because he went to war as part of the DUK "Right Sector". Since the end of 2018, he lived a peaceful life, worked at a factory, and was in the reserve of the DUK PS. He was interested in football, military affairs, loved to draw, and was engaged in tattoos. He loved fishing and relaxing in the forest. On February 24, 2022, with the first enemy shots, he evacuated his family and returned to defend his native Kharkiv region. In March, he joined the special forces "Kraken". "It is low and unmanly to leave your country and your city to the enemy. I am fighting for the future of my country, family and Ukrainians. If you woke up today, you can go to the store, play with your child and just live - it means we are doing everything right," Miller said. "Maksym died bravely: under unequal forces during direct contact with the enemy, managing to shoot down an occupier. Acquaintances can only say good things about Maks: courageous, honest, kind, sensitive, fair. He always came to help, never boasted, but just loved his work," said the defender's wife Annette. "This is a true warrior, a nationalist who has dedicated many years to the fight against Russian invaders and the development of the USSD. Your death is not in vain! Not every warrior has the honor of dying in battle. After all, you have sent more than one occupant to hell. Slaves are not allowed into Valhalla, so you are definitely there. Your Glory is an inspiration for others!" - noted on the page of the DUK.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
