Maksym O. Natochyi (Feniks)

Soldier Maksym Natochyi (call sign Phoenix) was killed on August 14, 2023, during enemy artillery shelling near the village of Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region. The warrior was forever 36 years old. Maksym was born in the city of Kropyvnytskyi. He obtained a financial education. He studied the first courses at the Open International University of Human Development "Ukraine", and received a bachelor's degree from the Kirovohrad National Technical University in 2008. After the full-scale invasion, he joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 79th Separate Airmobile Brigade, holding the position of squad commander of the fire support platoon of the airmobile company. "If I believe that a person's soul is reborn again in the next life, then I would very much like Maksym and I to be together again, so that I could be his wife again," wrote his wife Iryna. The defender was buried in the Alley of Glory of the Far Eastern cemetery in his hometown. Maksym is survived by his parents, brother, wife, and son. Posthumously, the defender was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.
