Maksym O. Parashchuk (Luntik)

Sergeant Maksym Parashchuk (call sign Luntik) was killed on October 27, 2023, during the assault on enemy positions in the Avdiivka area in the Donetsk region. The defender was forever 28 years old. Maksym was born in the village of Arbuzinka, Mykolaiv region. He studied at the local vocational lyceum. From 2017, he worked as an assembler at the "BaDM" company. In his free time, he loved to read books. He was a music lover, always listened to music and often went with headphones. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of volunteers and went to war. He served in the ranks of the 26th separate rifle battalion of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "My hero, my beloved and dear Maksymchyk, my good one (I always called you that), and you laughed and squinted... You are my heart, my soul. The best person I ever knew. I will always love you quietly in my heart," wrote the deceased's girlfriend Yevheniia. The warrior was buried in his native village. At home, Maksym was awaited by his loving family, beloved, and friends.
