- Soldier Maksym Pushkar (call sign Kent), 32 years old, was killed on August 1, 2023 near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. The warrior received injuries incompatible with life during an enemy mortar shelling. The defender was born in Kharkiv. He studied at gymnasium No. 152, and after the 9th grade, he entered the Kharkiv Professional Montage and Construction Lyceum, where he obtained the specialty of an electric welder-body repairer. After graduation in 2015, he was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which he served in Kremenchuk. He loved fishing, was passionate about cars, and dreamed of opening his own service station. After the full-scale invasion, on May 9, 2023, Maksym voluntarily joined the ranks of the National Guard of Ukraine. He served in the 3rd separate assault brigade, holding the position of a grenade launcher in the "SPARTAN" unit. "Maksym really wanted to help drive all the occupiers out of his native land. His family was always proud that he stood up for their defense. In the hearts and memories of his relatives and friends, Maksym remains a smiling, courageous, sincere, and kind person. Eternal memory! Glory to the Hero!" said his friend Alina Kravchenko. The defender was buried in the Alley of Glory of cemetery No. 18 in his native Kharkiv. Maksym is survived by his wife, mother, sister, nephews, and friends. The warrior was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
