Biography
Medinsky Maksym Serhiyovych was born on March 22, 1989 in the city of Bolgrad in the Odesa region. He graduated from the Institute of Journalism of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, as well as the military department. He worked in the press service of the Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine, as well as in the team that helped Naftogaz in the gas war and hindered the launch of Nord Stream 2. In 2014, without waiting for the summons, he voluntarily reported to the military enlistment office. He served in the position of deputy commander of a mortar battery of the 1st battalion. In 2015, he was demobilized. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he went to the army without hesitation. He served in the 95th Separate Airborne Brigade. He was killed on April 29, 2022 during an artillery shelling near the city of Kharkiv. On May 11, 2022, a farewell ceremony for Maksym was held at the Baikove Cemetery in Kyiv. He was buried on May 12, 2022 in the village of Ksaverivka, Bila Tserkva district, Kyiv region. He is survived by his wife and daughter.Burial place
