- Senior Lieutenant Maksym Oleksieienko was killed on February 12, 2023, near the village of Masiutivka in the Kharkiv region. The warrior received a fatal explosive injury while performing a combat mission. He was 32 years old. Maksym was born in the city of Izium, Kharkiv region. He lived in the city of Kropyvnytskyi. He had a higher military education, which he obtained at the Military Academy in Odesa. In his free time, he loved to do sports and read. He defended the country in the ATO zone. During the full-scale war, he served as part of the 3rd separate special purpose regiment named after Prince Sviatoslav the Brave. He was a senior officer of the reconnaissance group of the headquarters. For his service, he received a number of awards, including the badge "Badge of Honor," the award of the Commander of the Joint Forces "For Valor and Loyalty," the medals "Veteran of War - Participant in Combat Operations," "Participant in the ATO," "Cross of Special Operations Forces," "10 Years of Conscientious Service." "Maksym was very cheerful, sociable, and positive. He had many friends. He dreamed of a big house and a rocking chair, in which he would read books in old age. He dreamed of traveling the world," his wife Anastasiia said. The defender was buried at the Far Eastern Cemetery in the city of Kropyvnytskyi. Maksym left behind a wife, a daughter born after his death, and a mother. The warrior was posthumously awarded the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi, III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
