Maksym V. Aleksieiev

Lieutenant Maksym Aleksieiev was killed in action near Avdiivka in Donetsk region on April 9, 2022. The soldier served in the 25th Separate Airborne Sicheslav Brigade. Maksym was born in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. After school, he chose a military profession and entered the Ivan Bohun Kyiv Military Lyceum. He then studied at the Odesa Military Academy. During the full-scale war, Lieutenant Aleksieiev, as part of the 25th Brigade, carried out combat missions in the Donetsk region. The officer was buried in Kyiv. Maksym was raised without parents. His only surviving close relative is his older brother Kostiantyn.
