- Senior soldier Maksym Danilyuk was killed on October 2, 2022, in the area of Mykolaivka Druha in Donetsk region. The defender was 26 years old. Maksym was born in Fastiv, Kyiv region. After school, he graduated from the Fastiv Center for Vocational and Technical Education and obtained the profession of electric gas welder. From 2016 to 2017, he served in the border troops. He then moved to Odesa, where he gained new knowledge and changed several specialties. After two years, he returned to his hometown of Fastiv. Later, he worked as a foreman in a workshop at the "Epicenter" shopping center. On February 24, 2022, Maksym voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He became a soldier of the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Konstantin Ostrozhsky. He held the position of senior master of the repair workshop of the artillery armament repair detachment. Together with his comrades, he defended Kyiv region, Kharkiv region, Luhansk region, and Donetsk region. "He was a model of resilience and strength of spirit, a man of his word and courage, a true warrior! The war took the dearest thing in our life with our daughter… You, our Simyk," wrote the wife of the fallen soldier, Anastasia. The warrior was buried at the Alley of Glory of the International Cemetery in his hometown of Fastiv. Maksym is survived by his parents, brothers, sisters, wife, daughter, and other relatives, friends, and comrades.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
