Maksym V. Horkovchuk

Maxym Viktorovych Horkovchuk was born on August 23, 1979, in the city of Zdolbuniv, Rivne Oblast. He worked as a precinct inspector in the former Urvenska and Myrotynska village councils. In 2016, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and served during the war in Eastern Ukraine. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he was mobilized and was on the front line. He held the position of commander of the road-commandant company in the city of Popasna in Luhansk region. He was killed on April 5, 2022, near the city of Popasna in Luhansk region. The farewell ceremony for the deceased took place on April 11, 2022, in the city of Zdolbuniv in Rivne region.
