- Born on January 6, 1986, in the city of Semenivka, Chernihiv region. In 2001, he graduated from the 9th grade of general education school No. 5 in Semenivka, in 2003 - from general education school No. 1 in Semenivka, and in 2004 - from the Training and Course Combine "Ukrbud" (Chernihiv) with a specialty in "electric gas welder." He served his mandatory military service in the 1121st separate training anti-aircraft missile artillery regiment of the 169th training center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A3435, the urban-type settlement of Desna, Kozelets district, Chernihiv region). He worked as an electric gas welder at the Irvantsi peat briquette factory branch in the Semenivka district of Chernihiv region, and as a laborer at private woodworking enterprises in the Semenivka district of Chernihiv region. On September 2, 2014, he was mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 41st territorial defense battalion of Chernihiv region "Chernihiv-2" (from November 2014 - the 41st separate motorized infantry battalion of the 1st separate tank brigade of the Ground Forces) of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit field post V3137). Since 2014, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in eastern Ukraine. On May 13, 2015, soldier Maxim Hrachov tragically died at his post in the military camp area near the village of Starohnativka, Volnovakha district, Donetsk region.
