During the performance of a combat mission, he came under mortar fire and received fatal injuries. The fighter was 30 years old. Maksym was born in the village of Vilshanka, Vinnytsia region. He obtained the profession of a computer typist at the Vinnytsia Vocational and Technical School. In 2011, he signed a contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 26th Artillery Brigade. Since 2014, he has participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation, holding the position of gun commander. In 2021, he was discharged from the army for health reasons. However, the full-scale war began the following year. In August 2022, Maksym returned to service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This time, he defended his country in the ranks of the 56th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade, where he was a senior rifleman - a shooter section operator. "As a true man, he went to defend Ukraine, his native home, his family from the enemy. But in the war, the ruthless death enveloped his fate with its black wing. Only the heart knows the depth of sorrow for the loved ones, whose souls have flown into the sky forever. The memory of them remains with us, bright as a tear, eternal as a fire that blows through earthly life with silent peace, preserving forever the warm memories of all those who can never be returned. Eternal memory to the Hero!" - was written on the page of the Tulchyn District State Administration. The warrior was buried in his native village. Maksym is survived by his mother, brothers, wife, and son.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
