- Senior soldier Maxim Vdovichenko died on October 22, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the village of Lymany in Mykolaiv region. The warrior was only 23 years old. Maxim was born in the village of Pidvysoke in Kirovohrad region. After school, he graduated from a vocational college. He then obtained a higher legal education at the Kropyvnytskyi Institute of the University of Modern Knowledge. He had many dreams and plans for life. He wanted to get married and start a family, to live in a peaceful and flourishing country. He dreamed of traveling and realizing his ideas. But he did not have time. In March 2021, the young man decided to defend Ukraine, so he enlisted in the Armed Forces of Ukraine under a contract. From the first days of the full-scale Russian invasion, he continued to defend his homeland from the occupiers as part of his unit and sincerely believed in victory over the enemy. "I just want to say: thank you for life!" wrote a friend of the deceased. "Maxim loved life. He cared for his younger brother Dmytro and looked after his parents Natalia Mykhailivna and Vitalii Serhiiovych. The soldiers who were with Maxim on the front said: 'A brave guy, a cheerful person, a loyal friend and comrade.' Military honor and dignity were above all for him. He always called things by their names and never deceived. In the hearts of his classmates, there are beautiful, bright, warm memories of him. Throughout his life, he never stained himself with a bad or unworthy deed. He had a kind, gentle soul, filled with love and compassion for everyone!" noted in the Pidvysoke community. The defender was buried in his native village. Maxim is survived by his parents and younger brother.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
