Biography
Maxim Yuriyovych Litvinov was born on June 4, 1985, in the city of Lozova, Kharkiv region. He received higher education at Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs. Since 2014, he participated in the war in Eastern Ukraine and defended the settlements of Shchastia, Mar'inka, Avdiivka, Zaitseve, Novotroitske, and Zolote. In his free time, he was interested in fishing and swimming. Since 2019, he served in a military unit in the city of Mariupol. As part of the 12th Operational Brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, he defended the city during the full-scale invasion. On February 23, 2022, his vacation just ended. That day, his family saw Maxim for the last time. He was killed on March 24, 2022, in battles with Russian invaders during the defense of Mariupol. The defender's body was returned home in April 2023. He was buried on the avenue of Glory at the city cemetery in Lozova, Kharkiv region. He is survived by his wife, son, and brother.Burial place
