- Soldier Maksym Omelchuk (call sign Max) was killed on February 21, 2024 while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Tabaivka in the Kharkiv region. The warrior sustained shrapnel wounds incompatible with life. On February 28, the defender would have turned 32 years old. Maksym was born in the city of Lutsk. After graduating from secondary school No. 20, he obtained the profession of a builder at the Torchyn Vocational School. In his free time, he loved to relax with friends. He was passionate about music. In civilian life, he worked as a builder. During the full-scale invasion, he defended the country as part of the 104th separate brigade of territorial defense. He held the position of senior mechanic-driver of the 60th battalion of the 2nd division. "Maksym was kind, sincere, and hardworking. He always helped everyone," said the mother of the fallen Natalia. Maksym was buried in the village of Harazdzha in Volyn. The defender left behind a son Matviy, mother Natalia, sister Iryna, and nephews Dariya and Dmytro.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
