Marian Yu. Sokhovych (Marik)

Soldier Maryan Sokhovich (call sign Marik) was killed on January 30, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission in the village of Ivanivske, Donetsk region. The defender was considered missing for eight months. Maryan was 37 years old. He was born in the Lviv region and lived in Radekhiv. He first obtained a driver's qualification and then studied to become a mechanic. He worked at a furniture company. In his free time, he loved fishing and was interested in motorcycles. He dreamed of doing woodcarving. During the full-scale invasion, on March 8, 2022, Maryan was called up for military service. The man was part of the 80th separate air assault brigade, holding the position of gunner. He had the rank of soldier.
