Maryn I. Melnykov

Melnikov Marіn Ihorovych was born in 1999 in the village of Vanchikivtsi, Novoselytsia District, Chernivtsi Oblast. He graduated from Vanchikivets Lyceum in his native village. With the onset of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, he held the position of grenade launcher in the airborne assault unit of the airborne assault platoon of the 87th Separate Air Assault Battalion. He was killed on March 7, 2022. The hero was buried on March 9, 2022, in the village of Vanchikivtsi, Chernivtsi Oblast.
