- Paratrooper Mykhailo Ustyakin (call sign Usya) was killed on March 28, 2022 while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Kamyanka in the Kharkiv region. The defender was 26 years old. Mykhailo was born in the village of Stari Velidnyky, Zhytomyr region. He graduated from the Kyiv Higher Vocational School of Construction and Architecture, where he mastered the profession of a carpenter. He worked at a sawmill. He played volleyball, winning diplomas and medals in competitions. He was passionate about motorcycles. He spent his free time with friends, helping his grandmother and neighbors. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to protect his native country. He served in the 95th separate airborne assault brigade. He held the position of squad commander. "Only good and bright things can be said about him. Misha was extremely sincere and courageous, a faithful friend and comrade who never left in trouble, a patriot of Ukraine. He dreamed of a happy future and made plans for his personal life, which the war took away from him. May his memory never fade..." said the deceased's friend Viktoria Kucher. For a long time, the fighter was considered missing. Only in 2023, after the liberation of those territories of the Kharkiv region, it was possible to find the remains of the body and identify them.
