- Soldier Mykhailo Diachenko (call sign Mishanya) died on February 20, 2023, in battle near the city of Kreminna in the Luhansk region. As a result of a shot from an enemy tank, he received severe injuries, but continued to fire, holding the defense until his last breath. The warrior was 28 years old. Mykhailo was born in the village of Brusivka, Luhansk region. He studied at the local school. In 2014, he graduated from the Starobilsk Technical School of the Luhansk National Agrarian University. He obtained a specialty in veterinary medicine. Since 2018, he lived in the city of Chuhuiv, Kharkiv region. There, he worked in his field. He loved outdoor recreation and fishing. With the beginning of the full-scale war, the man was mobilized into the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of a machine gun crew member in the fire support company of the 95th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade. "I want everyone to know that my beloved husband Mykhailo was a good person, a loving and faithful husband, a good master, a life-lover, a person with a huge heart and an open soul. A true patriot and son of his land! From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he selflessly helped civilians and the military. But he couldn't stay aside for long and became a volunteer in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He bravely defended us. With all his heart and soul, he strived to live in a free Ukraine," his wife Nadiia said. The warrior was buried on the Alley of Glory in Chuhuiv. His parents and wife did not live to see their defender return from the war. Posthumously, Soldier Mykhailo Diachenko was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
