Mykhailo H. Shuparskyi

Sergeant Mykhailo Shuparskyi was killed on October 18, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. The defender was forever 47 years old. Mykhailo was born in the village of Blyschadʹ, Chernivtsi region. He studied at the Rzhavynetska secondary school. He then graduated from the Zastavnivske vocational school and obtained the profession of a tractor driver. In civilian life, he worked at the Bukovynskyi state farm and the Rukhotyn forestry. In 2014, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. With the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, on March 6, 2022, on his birthday, the man returned to the army and again defended his Motherland. Mykhailo served in the 48th Kamianets-Podilskyi Engineering Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He held the position of commander of the engineering and sapper platoon. "Mykhailo was a bright, kind, and decent resident of our community. He was always principled, honest, persistent, and had his own civic position. He was a reliable support for his relatives. He was a reliable friend and valued friendship. He achieved everything on his own. He never refused to help friends and neighbors. Always serious and active, he was a support for his comrades-in-arms at the front. He worried about his sister Svitlana and brother Viktor, whom he loved very much. And even more, his heart worried about his native blood - his son Illia, who had left the country. He so wanted to see him, hear him, hug him and tell him how much he loved him, how much he missed him," the Klishkovetska community said. The hero was buried in his native village. Mykhailo left behind a son, an older sister, and an older brother.
