Mykhailo I. Feliust (Moisha)

Sergeant Mikhaylo Felyust (call sign Moysha) was killed on October 6, 2023, during enemy mortar shelling near the settlement of Bilohorivka in Luhansk region. The soldier was 21 years old. Mikhaylo was from Chernihiv. Since the age of 8, he was involved in the sports club "White Wind". He graduated from the 9th grade of Chernihiv Collegium No. 11 and then entered the vocational college of transport and computer technologies at ChNTU. After graduating, he worked as an electrician in the construction company "Atlant" in Kyiv. In February 2023, he signed a contract and joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as part of one of the units of military unit A2120. He held the position of commander of the 1st air mobile unit. "Mikhaylo was a very bright and positive person, he always tried to help everyone who needed it. He voluntarily stood up to defend Ukraine for the sake of his family, friends, and the bright future of the country. He wanted to get into the airborne troops, he adored this branch of the military," wrote his close friend Oleksandra Samoylenko. Mikhaylo Felyust was buried in the cemetery in Yalivshchyna. He is survived by his parents and grandmother.
