Mykhailo I. Kudrych

Junior Sergeant Mykhailo Kudrych was killed in action on April 13, 2022, during a combat confrontation and artillery shelling in Luhansk region. The warrior was forever 38 years old. Mykhailo Kudrych was born in the village of Nizhnya Yablunka in Lviv region. He received general education at the boarding school in Turka, and then stu at the local professional and technical lyceum No. 51, where he mastered the profession of a manual welder. He served his military service in unit A1625. He was discharged into the reserve with the rank of junior sergeant. In peacetime, he was engaged in construction and repair work. He was a support and support for his mother. After the start of the full-scale invasion, on March 2, 2022, Mykhailo was called up to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. On March 15, as part of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, he went to the East. He defended Ukraine on the Luhansk direction. He held the positions of platoon commander and battery commander of the command platoon. "In life, Mykhailo was a respected, kind, and sociable person. A patriot, a loyal son of Ukraine. He loved and respected his relatives, his mother, took care of her and was a support. At the age of 38, he was only beginning his bright life path..." wrote the sister of the deceased. The defender was buried in his native village. He is survived by his mother, brother, sister, niece, as well as godparents, godchildren, friends, and other relatives. Posthumously awarded the Orders of "Courage" III degree, "Cross of the Hero" and "Cross of the Brave."
