- Junior Sergeant Mykhailo Kulchytskyi (call sign Vedmedyk) fought his last battle on June 9, 2024 near the city of Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region. In July, the defender would have turned 42 years old. Mykhailo was a native of the village of Luka in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. From childhood, he lived in Ivano-Frankivsk. He studied at school No. 18. In 2004, he graduated from the Ivano-Frankivsk National University of Oil and Gas, where he obtained a higher education in the specialty "Management of Organizations". In civilian life, he was a bank employee, a sales manager, and a courier. During the full-scale war, in March 2022, the man became a fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the Separate Presidential Brigade named after Hetman Bohdan Khmelnytskyi. He held the position of head of the UAV group. The military was awarded the honorary badge of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine "Golden Cross", the medal of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Council "Knight of the Combat Deed" and the award of the city mayor "For Honor and Valor". "My husband was the best, beloved, kind, faithful and loved life very much. He is a wonderful father, whom we miss very much," said Iryna Kulchytska. Mykhailo was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the Chukaliv Cemetery in the Ivano-Frankivsk region. The warrior is survived by his parents, wife, and daughter.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
