- Soldier Mykhailo Mitura was killed on July 17, 2023, near the settlement of Novosilske in the Luhansk region. The defender received fatal injuries during an enemy mortar attack. In June, he turned 39 years old. Mykhailo was born in the village of Rzhyshchiv, Volyn region. He graduated from the local school. He worked in Poland. He loved fishing, playing football and volleyball. But he loved spending time with his family the most. During the full-scale Russian invasion, in June 2022, the man was mobilized into the airborne assault troops of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 25th separate airborne brigade. "Dad will forever remain in our hearts. His courage and bravery will be proudly remembered by all who knew him, both now and in the future. To have such kind and caring people in one's life is a great rarity. He never said he was doing badly. When you ask him, he always had an answer: 'I'm fine, better tell me how you're doing.' Eternal memory to our now heavenly Hero," said the eldest daughter of the deceased, Kateryna. The paratrooper was buried in his native village. At home, Mykhailo was awaited by his mother, wife, two daughters and three grandchildren.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
