Mykhailo L. Demianiuk

Soldier Mykhailo Demianyuk was killed on June 1, 2022, while performing a combat mission in Mykolaiv region. The defender was 23 years old. Mykhailo was born in Vinnytsia region. He lived in the village of Skala. He graduated from Zoziv Professional Agrarian Lyceum, mastered the profession of a tractor driver-mechanic. He worked in the farm "Ros" in the village of Skomaroshki in Vinnytsia region. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man was drafted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Yakov Handziuk. He held the position of a radiotelephonist-linear supervisor of the department of the self-propelled artillery battery of the self-propelled artillery division. "A responsible, diligent, hardworking boy," said local school teacher Nadiia Voytenko. Mykhailo was buried in the village of Skala in Vinnytsia region. He left behind his parents, brother and sister. Posthumously, the military serviceman was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree.
