Mykhailo M. Melnyk (Ksondz)

Michael Melnyk (call sign Ksiondz), a TRO fighter, was killed on December 21, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the village of Vyshnevе in the Kharkiv region. A month before this, the warrior turned 30 years old. Michael was born in the village of Knyazhe, Lviv region. He stuwas killed at the Vyacheslav Chornovil Institute of Sustainable Development of the National University "Lviv Polytechnic". He worked as a cable network installer at LLC "Elektrokontakt Ukraine". He was also a deacon in the church in his native village. He had many plans and dreams for life. But the full-scale invasion of Russian invaders did not allow him to realize his plans. Michael joined the ranks of the local 103rd separate brigade of the territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. As part of the 64th battalion, he went to the front line to drive the invaders out of his native country and live in peace. "Good, fair, always sensitive to the grief of others, ready to come to the rescue. He was faithful to God and Ukraine until the end," said the deceased's sister Khrystyna. Michael was buried in his native village. He is survived by his parents, sister, and nephews.
