Mykhailo M. Nesterov

Senior soldier Mykhailo Nesterov was killed on August 21, 2022 while carrying out a combat mission in Kryvyi Rih, Dnipropetrovsk region. The defender came under enemy fire. He was 29 years old. Mykhailo was born in Kyiv. He graduated from the Interregional Academy of Personnel Management. He was a patriot and dreamed above all of living in a free Ukraine. During the full-scale war, the man defended Ukraine in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 38th Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment named after General-Lieutenant Yuriy Tiutiunnyk. He was a mechanic-driver. Together with his comrades-in-arms, Mykhailo defended the Ukrainian sky from the invaders. "A very good, fair person, a master of his craft," said his comrade Anastasia. The serviceman was buried in his native Kyiv. Mykhailo is survived by his parents, sister, wife and daughter.
