Mykhailo M. Terpai

Azovets Mykhailo Terpai was killed on August 21, 2022, in Donetsk region, covering a wounded comrade with his body during enemy shelling. Mykhailo was born in Zakarpattia in a large family. He had 3 brothers and a sister. In his childhood, he moved with his family to Poltavshchyna - to the village of Iskivtsi. He finished local school and entered the Horol Agricultural College. Together with his father, he was engaged in land cultivation, and later started his own business in the agricultural sector. He was also engaged in construction. In 2017, Mykhailo moved to the village of Plekhiv in Poltavshchyna. There he bought a house, cultivated the land and planned to live further with his wife and child. However, a full-scale war began. Mykhailo with his father and brothers went to defend Ukraine from Russian occupiers. The man served in the separate special purpose battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov. Mykhailo grew up sincere and sociable. Like all children in the family, he loved his land and Ukraine. Sincerely worried about the fate of Ukraine, together with his brothers, he voluntarily went to the front, - noted in the Lube community. The defender was buried in the village of Iskivtsi. He left behind his parents, brothers, sister, wife, and little son.
