Mykhailo M. Yarovyi

Born on September 19, 1977, in the city of Kirovohrad (since 2016 - Kropyvnytskyi). In 1993, he graduated from the 8th grade of secondary school No. 22 in Kirovohrad, then from Vocational School No. 4 in Kirovohrad (now - Central Ukrainian Vocational School named after Mykola Fedorovskyi - Kropyvnytskyi), obtaining the specialty of a repair locksmith. He served his mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He worked as a repair locksmith at the "Chervona Zirka" factory in Kirovohrad, and from 2009 to 2016, he worked as a loader at the "Kreativ" enterprise and in other positions in private enterprises in Kirovohrad (now - Kropyvnytskyi). Since April 19, 2018, he served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He underwent training at the 169th Training Center of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0665, the urban-type settlement of Desna, Kozelets district, Chernihiv region). Since July 2018, he served as a grenade launcher in the 2nd section of the 3rd platoon of the 9th company of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 28th separate mechanized brigade of the Operational Command "South" of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (military unit A0666 (field post V0095), the urban-type settlement of Chornomorske, Lyman district, Odesa region). From July to August 2018, he participated in the Joint Forces Operation in eastern Ukraine. On August 13, 2018, soldier Mykhailo Yarovyi was killed by multiple shrapnel wounds as a result of a mine explosion near an observation post in the vicinity of the city of Marinka, Donetsk region. On August 16, 2018, he was buried in the Honorary Alley of the Rivne Cemetery in Kropyvnytskyi.
