Mykhailo O. Zanozovskyi

Junior Sergeant Mykhailo Zanozovskyi was killed on August 30, 2022, during an artillery shelling in the Mykolaiv region. The 51-year-old defender sustained fatal shrapnel wounds. Mykhailo was born in the village of Tynne in the Rivne region. He graduated from the Rivne Automobile Road Technical School and worked as a builder. He loved working in the field and was a good host and a jack-of-all-trades. Intelligent, always cheerful, and sincere. With the onset of the full-scale invasion, Mykhailo went to the military enlistment office. As part of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Daniel, he headed to the front lines to defend his native country. Together with his comrades, he endured the hell of Luhansk and managed to break out of encirclement. However, in Mykolaiv, an enemy shell took the life of the defender. His daughter Natalia noted: "My dad! My best! I want the whole world to know that he is a Hero. That everyone knows he is the strongest, bravest, and most courageous for me! My Warrior, my Angel. I am so proud, I am so proud that he is my dad! It's a pity that I didn't tell him this while he was alive. I want to ask for forgiveness for not praying enough, as you asked. And to thank him for life." His daughter Halyna shared: "My dad was the brightest example of courage and heroism. He was an extraordinarily good and sincere person, honest and just. He loved Ukraine with all his heart and aspired to a bright future. He never complained about life, but he was prepared for the fact that death could also find him...". The serviceman was buried in his native village. Mykhailo is survived by his parents, brothers, sisters, wife, son, daughters, and grandson.
