Mykhailo P. Kripak (Pukh)

Warrior of the Territorial Defense Forces Mykhailo Kripak (call sign Pukh) was killed on February 10, 2023, in battle with the occupiers near the settlement of Volodymyrivka in the Donetsk region. The defender was 48 years old. Mykhailo was born in the village of Orlivshchyna, Dnipropetrovsk region. He lived with his family in the city of Dnipro. He worked as a plumber. He read a lot. He was interested in history, especially the Cossack era. That's why he was called a "walking encyclopedia." He was passionate about numismatics and had collected a rare collection of coins. He had loved fishing since childhood. During the full-scale war, Mykhailo joined the ranks of the local Territorial Defense Forces. He served in the 234th battalion of the 128th separate brigade of the Dnipro Territorial Defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a machine gunner. "He was a true patriot. He went as a volunteer. We miss Myshko very much. Words cannot convey the sorrow. It hurts the soul. He was a good man and a father. He was a good person," said the deceased's wife, Oksana. The defender was buried at the Krasnopilskyi cemetery in Dnipro. At home, Mykhailo was awaited by his wife and daughter.
