Biography
Mykhailo Serhiyovych Lyshchyna was born on November 12, 1990, in the village of Shklyn, Second, in the Lutsk district of the Volyn region. In 2008, he graduated from the general education school of I-III degrees in the village of Shklyn. From 2008, he studied at the Volyn Technical School of the National University of Food Technologies, majoring in "Electromechanic of electronic computing machines." In 2010, he was conscripted into the Armed Forces of Ukraine, serving in the Western Operational Command. In 2014, with the onset of the war in Eastern Ukraine, he was called up under partial mobilization to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was in the hottest spots of the ATO, for which he received the award "Participant in Hostilities." In 2015, he was demobilized. On March 30, 2016, he signed a new contract with the Armed Forces of Ukraine and underwent retraining at the 184th Training Center of the National Army Academy named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny in the village of Starychi, Lviv region. After training, as part of the 3rd Battalion of the 14th Mechanized Brigade, he again went to the ATO zone, particularly to the town of Stanytsia Luhanska. With the beginning of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, he took up the defense of Ukraine. He was killed on March 27, 2022, during enemy shelling while carrying out a combat mission in Mykolaiv Oblast. The funeral service for the fallen soldier took place on April 2, 2022. The soldier was commemorated in the Holy Trinity Church of the village of Horodyshche and was buried in the cemetery of the village of Shklyn in Volyn.Burial place
