- Serviceman Mykhailo Mitusov (call sign Afo) was killed on August 8, 2022, during battles with the occupants in the Donetsk region. Near the village of Pavlivka, he received a fatal injury as a result of enemy artillery shelling. The defender was 29 years old. Mykhailo was born and lived in Kharkiv. After school, he studied at the Ukrainian Engineering and Pedagogical Academy. He tried himself in various fields of activity. His last civilian job was at a pre-trial detention center. He was interested in computers, technology, understood maps and could draw well. In 2016, Mykhailo joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation / Joint Forces Operation in Donbas. During the full-scale war, he defended Ukraine as part of the 53rd Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Volodymyr Monomakh. He was the commander of the unmanned aerial vehicle reconnaissance platoon. "Misha was a very kind and sensitive person. He was always fair, honest, polite, and never refused to help. Cheerful, full of life. He was always learning something new and gladly taught others. He loved life and delicious food very much. He treated everything calmly, saying that any problem could be solved. He loved his work very much, and flying drones was his great passion. He wanted to teach as many people as possible this business in order to pass on his great experience," said the widow of the fallen Ksenia. The defender was buried in the Alley of Glory of cemetery No. 18 in Kharkiv. Mykhailo is survived by his parents, brother, wife, and daughter.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
