- Publications- Senior sailor Mykhailo Kіsh (call sign Mіshanya) was killed on February 27, 2022, in the village of Kalynivka, Mykolaiv region. He sustained shrapnel and gunshot wounds that were incompatible with life. The warrior was 32 years old. Mykhailo was born in the village of Zmiivka, Kherson region. He graduated from the Novokakhovsk Humanitarian Institute of the University of "Ukraine." He worked as a painter-plasterer and a tiler. He adored sports, particularly arm wrestling, swimming, and aikido. He wrote poems dedicated to his homeland. He lived in the village of Kapustyne in Mykolaiv region. During the full-scale invasion, he fought as part of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynskyi. He held the position of a shooter-paramedic. He actively participated in the life of the military unit. "Mykhailo was a loyal son of our homeland, a patriot. Despite being discharged for health reasons, he went to defend Ukraine without hesitation. He loved life very much, had many friends, was cheerful, decent, fair, a good father and son, and a faithful husband. He loved his family and always waited for his daughter to say 'Daddy,' but he didn't live to hear it," said Iryna Zadryhun, the mother of the fallen. The defender is buried in the village of Matviyivka in Mykolaiv region. Mykhailo is survived by his wife, daughter, parents, brother, and sister. Posthumously, Mykhailo Kіsh was awarded the Order of "For Courage" of the III degree.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
