Mykhailo V. Mazur (Makar)

Soldier Mykhailo Mazur (call sign Makar) was killed in action on June 29, 2022, in a battle for the city of Lysychansk in Luhansk region. The warrior was 32 years old. Mykhailo was born in the city of Rivne. He stu at the Rivne Technical College of NUWGP. Then he stayed to work at the institution as a master of production training. He taught in a group of qualified workers. The man is remembered as responsible, sincere, kind and always positive. Students loved and respected him. In his free time, he loved football, was a fan of FC "Dynamo". After the full-scale invasion of the Russian army in Ukraine, Mykhailo joined the 115th separate brigade of territorial defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a grenadier. The unit that Mykhailo Mazur got into took part in battles for Bakhmut in Donetsk region, Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk in Luhansk region. "Mykhailo was one of the most responsible, honest, wise and kind people. He was the best father and husband in the world. He will forever be in our hearts," said his wife Anna. The defender was buried in the village of Stavychany in Khmelnytskyi region. Mykhailo left behind a wife Anna and a daughter Ulyana, who was 4 years old at the time of her father's death.
