- Soldier Mykhailo Nepomniashchykh (call sign Potap) was killed on April 28, 2024 as a result of an explosive injury sustained in combat with the enemy near the village of Serhiivka in the Luhansk region. The warrior was 32 years old. Mykhailo was born in the city of Khmilnyk. He graduated from school there. Then he obtained the profession of a welder at the local vocational school. He lived in the village of Protsiv in the Kyiv region. He worked as an auto mechanic and driver. He was passionate about cars and dreamed of opening his own service station. In February 2024, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the 3rd separate assault brigade. He was a driver-mechanic of the repair and mechanical department of the repair platoon of the artillery armament repair company of the missile and artillery armament repair and recovery battalion. "Mykhailo was hardworking and friendly. He always came to the aid of those who needed it. He had many plans for the future. Misha was a self-taught professional. He had golden hands, he could do absolutely everything: from screwing in a light bulb to repairing a tank. He was humane, devoted, fair, loving, and friendly. He valued family values. He always postponed his own affairs and went to help others. He volunteered to defend the Motherland to accelerate the victory and realize his dreams, but the dreams were not destined to come true..." - said Svitlana Prykhodko, the mother of his civil wife. The defender was buried in the village of Protsiv in the Kyiv region, where he lived for about 18 years. Mykhailo is survived by his mother Halyna Ivanivna, brother Serhii, and civil wife Yuliia.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
