- 49-year-old soldier Mykhailo Romaniuk (call sign Potap) was killed on June 17, 2023 near the village of Piatykhatkiof the Zaporizhzhia region. While carrying out a combat mission, a group of Ukrainian warriors was advancing to storm the village and came under fire. Later, during the evacuation, they were hit again, as a result of which the soldier was killed. Mykhailo was born and lived in the village of Dolishnie Zaluchia, Ivano-Frankivsk region. He studied at the local school. Then he obtained the profession of a carpenter-parquet layer at the Ivano-Frankivsk vocational school. He worked in the construction industry, was a master of repairs at the Dolishniozaluchanska secondary school of I-III degrees. He loved fishing and horseback riding. During the full-scale war, the man joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to defend his native country. He served in the 128th separate mountain assault brigade. He was a platoon commander. Mykhailo was buried in the Alley of Heroes of the "Nove" cemetery in the village of Dolishnie Zaluchia. He left behind a wife, two sons, a stepson, brothers and a sister.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
