Mykhailo V. Skovorodetskyi

Junior Sergeant Mykhailo Skovorodetskyi (call sign Meteor) was killed on March 1, 2024 near the village of Orlivka in the Donetsk region. During the evacuation of wounded and fallen comrades, the fighter came under enemy fire and received fatal injuries. The defender was forever 40 years old. Mykhailo was born in the village of Ratus, Vinnytsia region. He worked as a tiler at "KanBud" LLC in Kyiv. After the start of the full-scale war, he fought in the ranks of the 3rd separate assault brigade. He was the driver of the 2nd assault squad of the 1st assault platoon of the 4th assault company of the 2nd assault battalion. "We deeply mourn our dear, best husband and father," wrote his wife Olena. The defender was buried in his native village. Mykhailo is survived by his parents, wife and son.
