Mykhailo V. Yuzko (Sapsan)

Sergeant Major Mykhailo Yuzko (call sign Sapsán) was killed on June 5, 2023, while carrying out a combat mission near the village of Rivnopil in the Donetsk region. The warrior was 49 years old. Mykhailo was born in the village of Serhiivka, Zhytomyr region. He graduated from Novohrad-Volynskyi SPTU-7 and obtained the profession of a carpenter-carpenter. He worked as a security guard at the Serhiivka secondary school. In his free time, he loved fishing and making wooden products. In 2015, he participated in the Anti-Terrorist Operation. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man again took up the defense of his country from the occupiers. He served in the ranks of the 31st Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a squad commander and deputy platoon commander. "Father was always an example of courage, reliability, and support for us," said the deceased's daughter Kateryna. The warrior was buried in the village of Zaprudа, Zhytomyr region. Mykhailo left behind a wife and three children.
