- The sailor Mykola Morozenko was killed in action on March 29, 2022, during a Russian airstrike on the city of Mariupol in Donetsk region. He was 36 years old. Mykola was from the village of Kizomys in Kherson region. He had a higher education. He lived in Kharkiv and worked as a battery salesman. In his free time, he was engaged in boxing. According to those close to him, he was a very kind and sensitive person, with many friends. In 2021, he went to serve in the navy under contract. He served in the 36th Separate Marine Brigade named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Bilynsky. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he defended the city of Mariupol with his comrades. "My father was a very good person. He always helped everyone and supported his family. He loved spending time with me. My father was a sincere person, engaged in sports and led a healthy lifestyle. I miss him very much. I miss his hugs, his warm words. He was the best father," said the daughter of the deceased, Darya.
