- Soldier Mykola Ptasnyuk (call sign Maladoy) was killed on June 10, 2022, while performing a combat mission near the village of Dovhenke in the Kharkiv region. The fighter was 27 years old. Mykola was born in the village of Dankivka, Vinnytsia region. He lived in the village of Babin, Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the Tetiiv Building College. He worked on construction sites. His last place of work was a printing factory, where he was a colorist. At the time of the full-scale Russian invasion, the man lived in Kyiv. From the first day, he joined the defense of the capital, enlisting in the local territorial defense. In May, Mykola was mobilized into the 95th Separate Paratrooper Assault Brigade. "Mykola was a true patriot, a very sincere, kind, open, hardworking person. He always came to the rescue, knew how to listen and support. He had many friends, was the soul of the company, always knew how to cheer up. He had always wanted to serve, but couldn't. With the start of the war, his position was very decisive, he said that he was needed on the front, couldn't sit with his hands folded, wanted to defend Ukraine. He enlisted as a volunteer in the military commissariat. Mykola was called up on May 19, 2022. But his life was cut short, although he had many plans," said his cousin, Marianna. "A bright, life-loving man who built his plans for life, breathed every moment to the fullest. He delighted his relatives, was a reliable support and support for them, a worthy example for his 4-year-old son. He dreamed, loved... But the enemy brutally, unfairly cut short his young life, trampled, broke dreams, hopes...
