Mykola H. Makharynets

Makharynetс Mykola Hryhorovych was born on February 14, 1971, in the village of Holov'iatyne, Smila district, Cherkasy region. He lived in the village of Malyi Buzukiv with his family - his wife and two sons. In 2015-2016, he participated in the anti-terrorist operation in Eastern Ukraine as part of the 43rd separate artillery brigade named after Hetman Taras Trasylo. From February 24, 2022, he defended the Ukrainian state from Russia's military aggression, holding the position of squad commander - vehicle commander of the motorized infantry platoon of the motorized infantry company of the motorized infantry battalion of the 30th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozkyi. He died on May 21, 2022 (the place is not specified). The hero was bid farewell in his native village on May 27, 2022.
