- Lieutenant Mykola Roslyi (call sign Lyako) was killed on October 30, 2022 near the village of Vodiane in the Donetsk region. During the performance of a combat mission, he sustained fatal shrapnel wounds. The officer was 30 years old. Mykola was originally from the village of Okhotnikove, Autonomous Republic of Crimea. He lived in Kyiv. He graduated from the National Academy of Internal Affairs and earned a master's degree in law. He worked at a company selling goods. He was passionate about sports, particularly boxing, and participated in competitions. During the full-scale Russian invasion, the man defended his country in the ranks of the 711th Regiment of the State Special Transport Service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. He commanded a assault platoon. "A true friend who always came to help. Honest, fair. A faithful husband," said the wife of the fallen Halyna. The officer was buried at the Berkovetske Cemetery in Kyiv. Mykola is survived by his parents, wife, son and daughter. Posthumously, Mykola Roslyi was awarded the Order of Courage of the III degree and the Freedom Cross Medal. He was also promoted to the rank of senior lieutenant.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
