- Soldier Mykola Adamchuk (call sign Budyony) was killed on August 9, 2023, while performing a combat mission in the Bakhmut direction. The warrior was only 27 years old. Mykola was born in the village of Shenderivka, Cherkasy region. In 2015, he obtained a chef's qualification at the Bohuslav Higher Vocational School of Service Sector. He was a participant in the ATO, a "cyborg," and defended the Donetsk airport. He then returned to civilian life. He lived in Kyiv and worked as a chef in the "Stories" restaurant before the invasion. Cooking various dishes was not just a job for him, but also a hobby. He spent his free time with his loved ones, respected family values, and enjoyed traveling together. He was also passionate about extreme sports, such as quad biking. In general, he was a well-rounded individual. Recently, he had been thinking about creating his own eco-farm. His biggest dream was to open a city-based catering establishment. In the early days of the full-scale war, the veteran returned to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and went to the front. He served in the 115th Separate Mechanized Brigade, holding the position of a grenade launcher assistant. "Kolya was very brave and courageous. He started the warrior's path in 2014. He defended the airport in Donetsk, had many injuries, but from the first day of the full-scale war, he was already fighting. 'I'm not fighting for awards' - that was his position. Sincere and merciful, but at the same time very strong. He always went towards his goal," said his fiancée Alina Kalyuzhna. The hero was buried in his native village. Mykola is survived by his mother and fiancée. In August 2023, a memorial plaque was unveiled in the Bohuslav community in memory of the fallen.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
