Mykola M. Cherdlovskyi

Born on December 29, 1980, in the city of Apostolove, Dnipropetrovsk region. Graduated from Apostoliv Secondary School No. 3. Served mandatory military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Lived in the city of Vyshhorod, Kyiv region. On March 26, 2014, mobilized into the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Held the position of deputy commander of a combat vehicle — gunner-operator of the 8th mechanized company of the 3rd mechanized battalion of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Since 2014, participated in the anti-terrorist operation in Eastern Ukraine. In August 2014, during the battles for the city of Ilovaisk in the Donetsk region, Senior Sergeant Cherdlovsky sustained serious injuries and was captured. After being released from captivity and undergoing treatment, he returned to the front lines. Buried in the cemetery of the city of Apostolove, Dnipropetrovsk region.
