- Junior Lieutenant Mykola Holinchuk (call sign Iroquois) died on December 6, 2023 during assault operations in the village of Berestove in the Donetsk region. He was forever 44 years old. Mykola was born in the village of Pishcha in the Volyn region, and lived nearby - in the village of Svityaz. He received his higher education at Lutsk National Technical University, and was a designer by profession. In civilian life, he worked in his specialty at the "Architectural Workshop" firm. In his free time, he loved fishing and also had a hobby - beekeeping. On January 25, 2023, the man joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. First, he underwent training in Rivne, and then in Odesa. Later, as part of the 109th separate battalion of the 10th separate mountain-assault brigade, he defended Ukraine in the Donetsk direction. He was a platoon commander. He received the "War Veteran" badge and the "For Wounds" medal. "He was very calm, balanced and fair. He came to the aid of everyone who needed it. The best father and beloved husband," said his wife Larysa Tokarska. The fallen was buried in the village of Svityaz. Mykola is survived by his parents, wife and two sons.Memory Platform 'Memorial'
